Novotech's Team: Top Industry Personnel
Several of Novotech personnel came from Raytheon’s Research Division in Lexington, MA and Umicore’s Germanium Products Group headquartered in Olen, Belgium.

At Raytheon, products such as CVD Zinc Selenide, Zinc Sulfide were pioneered for early FLIR and Missile programs such as LANTIRN, TADS, Maverick and Javelin.

Prior to Novotech’s founding in 1998, several staffers had founded a CVD Zinc Selenide business subsequently acquired by Umicore. Personnel at the Lakeside Semiconductor division come primarily from Motorola and Hughes Aircraft.

The Lakeside division was acquired by Novotech in 2000 through a purchase of shares from float-zone silicon producer, Topsil of Denmark.
